At TBK Bank, we offer you options on how you want to handle overdrafts on select consumer accounts. Also, we encourage you to set up alerts, monitor accounts via Online and Mobile Banking, and enroll in direct deposit to help avoid overdrafts. However, even with the many account services TBK Bank offers, overdrafts can happen. Please refer to the “What You Need to Know about Overdraft Protection Fees” disclosure for more information on our overdraft program.
Change your Overdraft Election
You may change your overdraft election at any time for ATM and everyday debit card transactions.
If you Opt-Out and do not have sufficient funds in your account to make the requested ATM or everyday debit card transaction, you will not be able to complete your transaction and you will either need to use a different form of payment or abandon the transaction.
If you provide us your permission to Opt-In to overdraft services on ATM and everyday debit card transactions and do not have sufficient funds to make the requested transaction, TBK Bank at its sole discretion, may authorize your payment and pay your transactions into overdraft. If we do pay your overdraft, you will be charged an Overdraft fee.
You may contact us regarding your overdraft coverage option (opt-out or opt-in) in any of the following ways:
