Examples of volunteerism by our team members include participating in local service organizations and clubs, participating in many festivals and events in our areas, coaching and managing youth sports, and serving on the boards of directors and committees at many area schools, hospitals, community groups, and other organizations.

Our Philanthropic Areas of Focus

TBK Bank has four areas of focus that guide our philanthropic efforts.

We advocate for those who have suffered injustices such as domestic violence and human trafficking. Our support in this area aims to provide the resources necessary to restore safety and promote healing.

Family Resources

Family Resources is a Quad Cities non-profit organization providing vital, no-cost services to survivors of crime, sexual violence, domestic violence, and human trafficking to set survivors on a course toward health and healing. Family Resources has a vision for a safe and healthy community for all families. In addition to serving survivors of abuse, they run a residential treatment center for children in foster care, assist families with adoption licensing, and ensure their clients have access to counseling, food, shelter, and assistance to build the bridge toward a renewed life.

Women’s Resource Center

Women’s Resource Center in Durango, CO offers a supportive environment for individuals in need to access empowering community resources. WRC offers resources for domestic violence, financial assistance, healthcare, housing, sexual assault and much more. Whether its support with food, shelter, clothing or help with a business, they will take the time to learn about the unique challenges you face and can help you develop a plan of action to get you back on your feet and on your way to economic self-sufficiency.

We support low-income and single-parent households, as well as families formed through foster care and adoption. Our hope is to strengthen families and care for children by connecting them to the resources needed to thrive.

Hope Anchored

Hope Anchored in Tribune, KS provides access to free, on-trend, new clothing in a private and dignified way to children in Foster Care across Kansas and Colorado. From a classily retrofitted box trailer modified by the men’s construction team at the Tribune Assembly, foster children will have an opportunity for their own 30-minute curated shopping experiences. The ministry strives to restore dignity to children in crisis.

Wings Early Childhood Center

Wings Early Childhood Center in Pagosa Springs, CO provides high-quality nature-based care and education to children ages 1-5. Wings continually offers low cost, affordable early childcare and preschool education in order to meet the needs of the community. Wings uses a 4 tier system for tuition. The amount that a family pays depends on their verifiable income and the number of family members in the home. They have made it their goal to show families the importance of educational enrichment, meeting the daily needs of each child, and the needs of each individual family they serve.

We provide access to essential needs such as groceries, education, and mental health services. Our efforts give individuals and communities both the dignity and resources needed to succeed.

Sinnissippi Centers

Sinnissippi Centers, Inc. is a community based behavioral healthcare center in Illinois providing quality care to residents of Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties since 1966. The center is on a mission to inspire wellness and provide hope and healing to empower all to live their best lives. Sinnissippi Centers got its start by providing professional, outpatient evaluation and treatment services aimed at helping people get back on their feed at quickly as possible. Today, the center provides crisis support, individual and family counseling, early childhood mental health, addiction treatment and recovery services, and other clinical services.

Cooperating Ministry

Cooperating Ministry of Logan County in Sterling, CO provides coordinated emergency resources and assistance to people who are in need. Cooperating Ministry is committed to serving thousands of individuals through emergency shelter assistance, medical assistance, transportation, and food access through a local and mobile food pantry. Cooperating Ministry also runs a local Thrift Store that helps fund their programing and sells items to community members at affordable prices.

South Park Seniors, Inc.

South Park Seniors, Inc. serves the South Park area, including Fairplay, Colorado and the entirety of Park County. The organization fills a significant need in the community by providing food, goods, services, information, and assistance to the wider community, primarily focused on serving senior adults, and is the only non-profit in the entire county dedicated to serving this population. South Park Seniors, Inc. provides the basic needs required to maintain independent living for senior adults in Park County living on a fixed income and a very limited budget.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County in Colorado has a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. They strive to provide a world-class Club Experience that assure success is within reach of every young person, with goals for their members to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, to demonstrate good character and citizenship, and to live a healthy lifestyle. The Boys & Girls Clubs provides a wide variety of programming in order to develop the skills of each member.
