TBK BANK NAMES FRONT RANGE ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2022

DENVER, Colo. – March 29, 2022 – TBK Bank, SSB announced today that Scott Bemis, Trent B. Rice, Robin Wise and Larry Wood have been named to the newly established Front Range Advisory Board. The Front Range Region of TBK Bank provides consumer and commercial banking products and services from 39 branches throughout Colorado.

As respected members of the northern Colorado community, the advisory board members are tasked with providing direct feedback from their communities. They will also recommend products and services, advise the bank’s management team on local market conditions, and assist in the development of new customer relationships.

Scott Bemis has more than 40 years of experience building relationships and developing partnerships while leading publications for the American City Business Journals. Most recently he served as the president and publisher of the Denver Business Journal, a position he held from 1996-2014. Bemis also recently launched Bemis Business Partners, a business designed to connect potential clients with 12 partner companies, from Commercial Banking to Technology and many in between.

Trent B. Rice serves as the Corporate Services Director at the NAI Shames Makovsky Realty Corp. with over 30 years’ experience in real estate. Trent is a fourth generation Denverite, and he and his wife, Molly, have been married for thirty years, reside in Cherry Hills Village with their daughter.

Robin Wise is the president and CEO of Junior Achievement – Rocky Mountain, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to motivating young people for future career success, self-sufficiency and financial acumen. She has been recognized by several organizations for her role at JA, such as being awarded the Most Admired CEO – Pinnacle Award from the Denver Business Journal, Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Colorado, William Funk Community Builder Award from the Colorado Non-Profit Association, and Outstanding Woman in Business by the Denver Business Journal.

Larry Wood has been a banker in Colorado for over 40 years. The last 34 years of employment was with banks owned or acquired by First National Bank of Omaha. Prior to that he worked for Central Bancorp. Wood retired from banking in 2019. He and his wife, Karen, live in Greeley and spend many hours with his daughter’s family, which includes her husband and two grandsons.
