TBK BANK ANNOUNCES 2022 TBK SCHOLARS PROGRAM RECIPIENTS

Fifteen hard-working students awarded $1,000 scholarships

July 21, 2022 – DALLAS, TX – TBK Bank, SSB announced today the recipients of its 2022 TBK Scholars Program. Fifteen deserving students were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support their respective college educations in honor of their commitment to making a difference in their communities.

“This is the fourth consecutive year we’ve offered this program, and it has been a privilege to assist exceptional students in their academic endeavors,” said Brandi Dunn, Director of Community Engagement for TBK Bank. “Helping to foster the growth of future leaders is a rewarding way to invest in the communities we serve.”

2022 TBK Scholars:

  • Aileen Vilchez of Elgin, Illinois, graduated from Elgin High School and will attend Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.
  • Alyza Alires-Bates of Thornton, Colorado, graduated from Lakewood High School and will attend Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
  • Destiny Moragne of Rowlett, Texas, graduated from Rowlett High School and will attend The University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas.
  • Evelyn Arroyo of Frederick, Colorado, graduated from Frederick High School and will attend the University of Colorado Boulder in Boulder, Colorado.
  • Favour Noya of Rock Island, Illinois, graduated from Rock Island High School and will attend Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
  • Jami Quick of Pritchett, Colorado, graduated from Pritchett High School and will attend Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado.
  • Jayden Kincade of Lamar, Colorado, graduated from Lamar High School and will attend University of Northern Colorado in Greely, Colorado.
  • Julius Sears of Dallas, Texas, graduated from Emmett J. Conrad High School and will attend Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.
  • Luke Fehr of Lochbuie, Colorado, graduated from Fehr Homeschool Academy and will attend Visible Music College (Dallas Campus) in McKinney, Texas.
  • Lupita Marquez of Wiley, Colorado, graduated from Wiley Junior-Senior School and will attend Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado.
  • Morgan McReynolds of Cheraw, Colorado, graduated from Cheraw High School and will attend Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas.
  • Quetzali Lugo-Charrez of Dallas, Texas, graduated from J.J. Pearce High School and will attend The University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas.
  • Quynh Tran of Garland, Texas, graduated from North Garland High School and will attend The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.
  • Syeda Vasifa of Garland, Texas, graduated from North Garland High School and will attend The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.
  • Wyollah Moses of Keenesburg, Colorado, graduated from Weld Central High School and will attend Mesalands Community College in Tucumcari, New Mexico.
