Go Local – Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE DRAWING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING THIS DRAWING. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE DRAWING, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND REPRESENT THAT YOU SATISFY ALL OF THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BELOW.

EACH WINNER WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESPOND TO WINNER NOTIFICATION AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS OR OTHER TIME FRAME STATED IN THE WINNER NOTIFICATION OR OTHER COMMUNICATION FROM TBK BANK, SSB OR PRIZE MAY BE FORFEITED.

Summary and Entry Period

“Go Local 2021” (“Drawing”) starts at 8:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on November 1, 2021 and ends at 5:30 p.m. CT on December 24, 2021 (“Drawing Period”).

By participating in the Drawing, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules (the “Official Rules”), and the decisions of TBK BANK, SSB (“TBK Bank”), and its subsidiaries including the interpretation of these Official Rules, which will be final and binding in all respects.

Eligible individuals (see ELIGIBILITY section of these Official Rules below) may enter the Drawing as defined below:

  1. Complete the TBK Bank Go Local entry form online at a participating business. (Participating businesses listed at TBKBank.com/golocal) 
    OR
  2. Write your name, address, city, state, zip, email and phone number with area code on a 3.5 inch by 5 inch index card and mail it to:

    USPS mailed entries must be postmarked between November 1, 2021 and December 24, 2021.

Eligibility and Limitations

Participants and winner(s) must be legal U.S. citizen at least 18-years old. Eligibility will be determined by presentment of an unexpired, government issued identification to TBK Bank. Only one (1) prize per household for the Drawing. Only one (1) prize per household within any thirty (30) day period. Employees, Officers and Directors of TBK Bank, or its subsidiaries, are not eligible to participate and win.

Prize(s):

  • (200) $50 VISA Gift Cards

Delivery of Prize(s)

The prize will be available for pick up at TBK Bank branch of the winner’s choice.

Winner Selection/Notification

A minimum of three winners will be selected from each TBK Bank branch community to win a $50 VISA gift card. The remaining eleven winners will be randomly selected from all of the drawing entries to win a $50 VISA gift card.  This is subject to verification, in a random drawing from all eligible entries received regardless of method of entry, to be held on or about December 30, 2021. TBK Bank will attempt to notify potential winner(s) that he/she/they may have won through phone or email based on how the drawing entry was submitted. Each winner will be required to respond to winner notification and other communications within three (3) business days or other time frame stated in the winner notification or other communication from TBK Bank or prize may be forfeited. Winner name(s) may be posted on TBK Bank’s website and/or Facebook page at TBK Bank’s sole discretion. If any prize, prize notification, or Drawing-related communication is rejected, faulty, or returned as undeliverable, if a potential winner does not respond according to the notification’s or TBK Bank’s instructions, or if a winner or potential winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected (time permitting) based on the original method of winner selection. TBK Bank is not obligated to pursue more than three (3) alternate winners for any prize for any reason, in which case a prize may be deemed unclaimed and TBK Bank will have no further obligation with respect to that prize.

Releases, Taxes and Miscellaneous

Publicity/Privacy

By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant TBK Bank exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other drawings and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration or such use. Release

By participating in the Drawing, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against TBK Bank, SSB, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Drawing, or from the use of any prize.  In order to receive a prize, participants must sign an official waiver form provided by TBK Bank.

Taxes

Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to TBK Bank, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner must provide TBK Bank, if requested, with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded.  Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize.  Any person winning over $10.00 in prizes from TBK Bank will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

Decisions

By participating in the Drawing, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of TBK Bank personnel.  TBK Bank reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the Drawing, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means.  TBK Bank will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Drawing and TBK Bank’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final.  If the conduct or outcome of the Drawing is affected by human error, any mechanical, technical, electronic, communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software errors, malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of TBK Bank, TBK Bank reserves the right to terminate this Drawing, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome TBK Bank deems appropriate.  All decisions will be made by TBK Bank and are final.  TBK Bank may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion.

Miscellaneous

Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign TBK Bank’s release form to claim the prize.  No purchase necessary to participate or win.  Void where prohibited.  Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants.  TBK Bank may substitute prizes of equivalent value, amend the rules or discontinue the Drawing at any time as announced. TBK Bank disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Drawing.  Written copies of these rules are available during normal business hours at each branch office of TBK Bank and by mail upon written request with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope.  All entries and photography rights become the property of TBK Bank and will not be returned.

Winner is responsible for any and all other costs and expenses not listed herein as being provided, including but not limited to transportation to/from venue, hotel accommodations, meals, hotel incidentals, parking, souvenirs, gratuities, any personal expenses.  Any prize details not specified above will be determined by TBK Bank, in its sole discretion.  TBK Bank will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of event cancellations or delays.  TBK Bank will not replace any lost or stolen prizes or prize components.  Prize is awarded “as is” without any warranty or guaranty, either express of implied by TBK Bank.

Compliance with Law

The conduct of the Drawing is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America and the State of Texas, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein.  TBK Bank shall follow the applicable laws for conducting drawings, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, providing specific written information about the Drawing, etc. as required by local and state law.
